Justino Madrid Jr.

Alamosa resident Justino Madrid Jr., 51, gained his angel wings on December 24, 2021 after his battle with Covid-19. Born on September 17, 1970 in Alamosa, Colorado, the son of Justino Madrid Sr., and Violet Avalos. After graduating high school, he went on to own and operate his own business. Justino was well known in the San Luis valley from his work he and his family did installing flooring and carpet. He was united in marriage to Annadine Anzara on October 1, 2017. When Justino was able to find free time he enjoyed going camping, hunting, fishing, working on classic cars and traveling. Above all he loved the time he was able to spend with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed and always remembered for his heart of gold!

He will live on through his wife Annadine Madrid of Albuquerque, NM; father Justino (Mary) Madrid Sr., of Alamosa, CO; children Marianna Madrid of Albuquerque, NM; Brianna Madrid, Deanera Madrid both of Alamosa, CO; step-daughter Samantha Lujan of Albuquerque, NM; Justino Madrid III of Alamosa, CO; sisters Berlinda Medina of Pueblo, CO; Delilah (Joe) Lopez of Albuquerque, NM; brothers Gerald Medina of Albuquerque, NM; Matthew Medina of Alamosa, CO. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Justino was preceded in death by his mother Violet Avalos, grandparents Cornelio and Bertha Madrid and Manuel and Alice Vigil.

A Vigil Service with Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Friday, December 31, 2021 at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Alamosa. A Mass of the Resurrection right after at 10:00 AM.
