Kiwanis Club of Alamosa inducts newest member

ALAMOSA – The Alamosa Kiwanis Club welcomed Adelaide Whitehead as the eighth new member to join the club this year.

Kiwanis Club of Alamosa President Andy Rice said, “We are growing! We are excited and blessed that community members see the value in volunteering. Kiwanis enriches the Alamosa community and the lives of our members. Together we can do so much more to improve the lives of children than we ever could on our own.”

Come check out Kiwanis, which meets every Thursday except the first Thursday of every month at Alamosa IHOP from 12-1 p.m.

Dedicated to serving the children of the world, Kiwanis International is a global volunteer organization who annually raises more than 100 million and dedicates more than 18.5 million hours to strengthen communities and help children. Through service projects and fundraisers, Kiwanis members improve their communities, make lifelong friendships, and, most importantly help children thrive, prosper and reach their full potential.
