Colorado Spring resident Kristie Ann Gallegos, 36, passed away November 30, 2017 at the Conejos County Hospital with her loving family by her side. Kristie was born on December 3, 1980 in La Jara, Colorado, the daughter of Andrew Ralph Gallegos and Patricia Martinez. Kristie worked as a medical assistant for many years, helping others was her true joy in life. Kristie was also the assistant center operations director for Concentra Urgent Care.  She was a devoted and loving daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend who enjoyed dressing up, going to parties, camping, going boating, four wheeling, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. Kristie always devoted one on one time with her niece and nephew, whom were very special to her.

Survivors include her parents Patricia and Andrew Gallegos of Ortiz, CO; grandparents Harold (Cecilia) Martinez of Ortiz, CO; brothers Andrew John Gallegos, Joey Lee Gallegos (Breezie Romero) both of Antonito, CO; niece Kiara Leigh Gallegos and one Nephew Brennen Lee Gallegos. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Kristie was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Leandro and Rose Gallegos and two uncles Harold Martinez and Herman Gallegos.

Cremation was chosen and A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. The arrangements have been entrusted to Romero Funeral Home of Antonito.
