ALAMOSA — The Narrow Gauge Book Coop (NGBC) will begin featuring local artists monthly through its new program, Artist of the Month.

For the month of November, photography from Kyle Burnett will be displayed  for sale. Kyle is a photographer based in Alamosa. He was born and raised in Monte Vista and has specialized in photography since middle school. Kyle’s family has a history with photography.

He reminisces, “My father dabbled in photography and my grandmother had a photoshop.  Photography runs in my family. My brother, sister, and cousin all do photography, it just runs in our family!”

Kyle’s passion is landscapes, but he also specializes in portrait photography. He enjoys pictures that show off people’s personality, interests, or simply, capture them.

As one might anticipate, his landscapes depict the incredible geographic diversity of the Valley and its sky. The store will display his stunning photographs of the mountains, cattails, and the Sangre de Cristos. His picture of a peacock feather will take your breath away!
