ALAMOSA — Lana Adelle Carbutt, 37, passed away on July 24, 2020. She was born on September 3, 1982, in Alamosa, Colorado to Clarence Edward and Lana Kay (Morgan) Holland.

Adelle was quite an athlete in her younger years. She was diagnosed with Diabetes in her youth and she never let that slow her down. She always had a great sense of humor and a quick wit. She heroically fought diabetes and all of the dialysis for over 20 years, never losing her zest for life. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Alamosa.

She is survived by her Children; Jaelynn, Jesse and Gabe Carbutt, her mother Lana Holland of Alamosa, her brothers, Eric (Marcie) Holland of Pueblo, Kent (Lita) Holland of Amarillo, Texas and Paul (Gretchen) Holland of Fort Collins, her aunts and uncles, Mariam and Ric Reynolds, Marilyn and Rick Hillery and Jolene and Jay Reynolds as well as fourteen nieces and nephews and numerous other beloved family members.

Adelle was preceded in death by her father, her brother Allen Holland, sisters Tracie Holland and Jan Holland as well as her dear maternal grandparents Quinn and Pauline Morgan and her paternal grandparents Clarence and Mavis Holland.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2020, at 11:00 am at the Rogers Family Mortuary in Alamosa. A graveside service will follow around 12:00 pm at the Alamosa Cemetery.
