Lean In Lunch March 28 features Delzia Worley

ALAMOSA — The next Lean In Lunch will feature Delzia Worley on Wednesday, March 28, from 12-1:30 p.m. at Adams State University (Student Union Rooms 127-130), 208 Edgemont Blvd. Alamosa.

Currently a senior vice president for First Southwest Bank working as a commercial loan officer Delzia currently has the largest portfolio of loans in the bank. She absolutely loves banking and has been in the industry since 1997.

Delzia was born and raised in the San Luis Valley, attended Sangre De Cristo High School, and then decided to attend Adams State College (now university.) She has a huge passion for the Valley, Adams State, and serving the community.

Delzia has been involved in the local Kiwanis for 20 years – serving as president, vice president, secretary, and the BOD. She is also on the Adams State University Alumni Board and is currently the vice president. Delzia is part of the Small Business Development Advisory Board, and the Alamosa County Economic Development Corporation Board, where she just finished a term as president.

In addition, Delzia has volunteered and presented interactive finance classes to adults and youth. Through the banks, she also helps with Teach Children to Save the Day, has been a part of a Shark Tank in a local high school, and has volunteered for any educational opportunities that come up. All of these organizations, along with her career in banking, allow Delzia to give back to the community in positive ways.

During her life she has been blessed to be surrounded by many strong role models and strong women. Delzia works hard to lead new and fresh ideas and continually makes a difference.

There will be a delicious lunch, time for networking, and a chance to hear from one of our own amazing community leaders.
