Alamosa resident Leonard Paul Pacheco went home to be with the Lord on September 16, 2021, at the early age of 42. Leonard was born on November 26, 1978, in Alamosa, Colorado, the beloved son of Leonard Alfred Pacheco and Cecelia Chee. After completing his G.E.D., he went on to get certified to fix heating and air conditioning systems. Leonard was a friend to all. He was kind, caring and compassionate and was always one to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Leonard enjoyed reading, learning about history, being outdoors, he was an avid sports fan and loved the time he spent with his family and friends.

He will live on through his father Alfred Leonard Pacheco of El Paso, TC; mother Cecelia Chee of Pueblo Pintada, NM; step-father Roland Kee Begay of Pueblo Pintada, NM; daughter Amelia Charlie of Crown Point, NM; sons Rome Pacheco, Kingston Pacheco, Lennox Pacheco all of Crown Point, NM; Kingston Swenny of Coachati, NM; sisters Robin Pacheco of Alamosa, CO; Jennifer Begay and Victoria Begay both of Crown Point, NM; special aunt Geneva Duarte of Alamosa, CO. He is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Leonard was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Edward Chee, paternal grandparents Jose Miguel and Reyes Pacheco and his cousin Angelo Duarte.

A Vigil Service with Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 10:00 AM also at Sacred heart catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Alamosa Cemetery.
