For Monte Vista to remain the viable community we all love, we need good public safety, well-maintained roads, and quality recreation facilities and opportunities. 

These basic services are vital to our community and for those that do business and live here. 

That is why the San Luis Valley Ski Hi Stampede, Inc. supports voting yes on the one penny per dollar sales tax in the City of Monte Vista. 

Money generated from this small tax will support street paving and sidewalk projects, hiring an additional police officer and providing upgraded public safety equipment.  It will also support improvements to recreation and event facilities at Ski-Hi Park.

This investment in Monte Vista will not only come from its citizens alone, it will also come from a large population of visitors that spend in the city.    

Please vote in favor of the one-cent sales tax in Monte Vista!
