Letter to the editor: Alamosa Volunteer Search and Rescue thanks SUDS for SAR sponsors

Alamosa Volunteer Search and Rescue would like to extend a BIG thank you to the community for all the support we received for our 2017 SUDS for SAR fundraiser, our 9th Annual! Funds raised help to pay for new equipment, upkeep of our specialty 4x4s, and training.

Special thanks go out to the following:

All AVSAR team members and their families for their time and effort in not only planning this event, but the time they take throughout the year for trainings, maintaining fitness and for the personal time taken from jobs and family to go on call outs . . . “. . . that others may live.”

The entire community for attending our event and for their donations.
