Letter to the editor: Thank you to cemetery staff

Last week, I had an occasion to visit the Alamosa Cemetery. I was looking for the grave of Nita Cooper who passed away in 1995. All I could remember was that it was by a road. So I went to the office and a groundskeeper pulled up in his tractor/mower. He looked up the location, and then had me follow him to the marker.

He drove on and I had a quiet moment with my long-time friend. Then I looked around. You have a lovely, well-kept cemetery. I was very impressed, and most grateful for the help the man gave me.
