Crews were in Alamosa on First Street filming an independent feature film on the afternoon of Aug. 1. According to one of the producers, Paul Mezey, the crews will be in Alamosa for several days and have been shooting throughout the Valley for several weeks. Mezey declined to reveal the name of the film as it is a work in progress. The Colorado Office of Film, Television and Media estimates filming in Colorado generates $116 million annually and the office has generated over 3,700 cast and crew positions through economic incentives it provides to the industry.
