Lilly Salazar Morrison, beloved wife, mother, and great- great grandmother passed away in Brighton, Colorado on March 1st, 2017 at the age of 101. She was born Dec 5th, 1915 in Redwing, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband George Morrison in 1995 after 64 years of marriage. She is survived by her son Grant Morrison of Tijeras, New Mexico, daughter Julia Hanson Sagaser of Colorado Springs, Colorado, 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was a long time member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Parish in Alamosa, Colorado and was a devoted member of the Catholic Daughters.  On her free time Lilly enjoyed gardening, embroidery, doing arts and crafts. She specialized in silk floral arrangements. She also enjoyed going for walks, traveling, camping, fishing and hunting. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Lilly is preceded in death by her parents, her husband George Morrison, brothers Fred, Joe, Burt, Toflio and Tom, sisters Helen, Rose, Elvera, Estella, Julia, Ida.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Monday, March 6th, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Alamosa. Interment will follow  at the Alamosa Cemetery, 2150 State Ave, Alamosa, Colorado. The care of arrangements have been trusted to Romero Funeral Home of Alamosa.
