Antonito resident Linda Sue Uriarte, 55, died suddenly May 4, 2021, in La Jara, Colorado. Linda was born on January 27, 1966, in La Jara, Colorado, to her parents Esther Duran and George Trujillo. Linda was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother and sister. She loved to spend time with her family, playing games, coloring, going to bingo and going camping. She will be truly missed.

Linda is survived by her mother Esther Duran of Antonito, CO; her children Robert (Diane) Trujillo of Alamosa, CO; Crystal (Wesley) Marquez of Colorado Springs, CO; Yolanda Chavez of Alamosa, CO; Jose Uriarte of Alamosa, CO; Cesar (Kimberly) Uriarte of Antonito, 15 grandchildren Toby III., Deion, Elias, Esaias, Natalia, Ashley, Cameron, Rico, Alonzo, Zahara, Mathias, Delyciana, Christiano, Alejandra, Adanysia. Sister Angelica Ortega, brothers Jake Trujillo, Wayne Trujillo, Bennie Trujillo, Jay Ortega, Dino Medina, Christopher Medina and Orlando Miranda. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her father George Trujillo, aunt Berna Jacquez, grandparents Eloyda Anaya, Jake DeHerrera, Melquiades and Adela Trujillo.

Cremation was chosen and A Vigil Service with a recitation of the Rosary will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Conejos.
