Lipke to perform in recital
SEWARD, Neb. — Concordia University, Nebraska will host a themed recital at 3 p.m. on Sunday Feb. 18 in the Recital Hall of the Music Center on campus.
Nineteen students, including Miriam Lipke, a sophomore from Alamosa, will perform in the recital. The program comprises a variety of music written for vocals, piano, organ and brass.
“The theme of this particular recital is “Variations” and it’s a neat opportunity for students to perform different works that all share a similar characteristic,” said Dr. Elizabeth Grimpo, associate professor of music at Concordia.
Lipke will be performing on the piano “When I Fall in Love” by Victor Young.
Concordia University, Nebraska, is a fully accredited, coeducational university located in Seward, Nebraska.
