Adams State University marketing professor and city councilor Liz Thomas Hensley officially joined the Alamosa County Local Marketing District Board at her first meeting Thursday night after being appointed by Alamosa County Commissioners on Oct. 25. “I’m very honored and looking forward to be working with all of you,” she said to the board.  Hensley replaces Jeff Woodward, who resigned in July. Before joining, Hensley served as city liaison for the board. The search for the Alamosa Convention and Visitors Bureau executive director is still ongoing.
