Madeline  Lorraine Lopez, 62, passed away Saturday, April 24th, 2021 at the Penrose - St Francis in Colorado Springs Colorado.

Madeline was born August 4th, 1958 in Alamosa, Colorado the daughter of Laureano Pacheco and Maria G. Pacheco.

Madeline enjoyed gardening and baking.  She was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. 

She is survived by her siblings, Alfred N. Sanchez of Alamosa, David M. (Liz) Padilla of Colorado Springs, Patricia A. (Gilbert) Garcia of Grand Junction, Gilbert A. (Kathy) Padilla of Pueblo, Michael Quintana of Colorado Springs and Lupe Pacheco (Mike Bryan) of Grand Junction as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Madeline is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 34 years, Jerry Leonard Lopez as well as her siblings, Larry Pacheco and Jerry Sanchez.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, May 3rd, 2021 at the Rogers Family Mortuary Alamosa 205 State Ave Alamosa, Colorado 81101.  A Recitation of the Rosary will be held 9:30 am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Tuesday May 4, 2021.  A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 am at the church.  Interment will follow services in the San Luis Valley Cemetery in Monte Vista.
