In her younger years, she enjoyed camping and fishing with her husband and family.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Anthony Maestas, grandson Christopher Maestas, her son-in-law Pedro Salazar; her siblings John (Manuelita) Trujillo, Fred (Mary Ann) Trujillo, and Louis (Della) Trujillo.

The family wants to give special thanks to sisters-in-law Ella Maestas and Mary Clem, her niece Freddie Gibbs, nephew Carlos Trujillo, and brother-in-law Rock (Nancy) Maestas for the kindness shown to Mary through their calls, letters, visits, and gifts.

Cremation was chosen and a Recitation of the Rosary will be held 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2022 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Alamosa. Inurnment will follow services in the Alamosa Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Mary would have loved if you said a prayer and shared compassion and kindness with those around you. Special blessings to Beverly for taking such excellent care of our mother and grandmother.
