Mary Margaret Fringer

Lifetime Valley resident Mary Margaret Fringer, 68, passed away June 14, 2024, at her home in Manassa, surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was born in La Jara, Colo., on Aug. 4, 1955, the daughter to Malcolm and Shirley (Fluckey) Vannoy.  She married Max Fringer in Manassa, Colo., on Aug. 11, 1973.  Their marriage was sealed for all time and eternity in the Mesa, Ariz., temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Feb. 23, 1982.

Mary worked for many years in Lapidary. She loved to spend time in the mountains with her husband, children and grandchildren.  Mary enjoyed the warm sunlight and beautiful tan skin she would get from being outside.  She loved her family very much and enjoyed seeing them.  Mary loved gardening and taking care of her yard.  She was one of the best cooks and enjoyed tasting new foods and then replicating them in her kitchen for her family and friends.

She is survived by her children Angel (Justin) Gylling of Manassa, Colo., Keven (Kim) Fringer, Mosca, Colo., Max P. Fringer, Manassa, Colo.; her grandkids Mayson (Danielle) Gylling, Monte Vista, Colo., Jeremy (Malory) Fringer, Center, Colo., Braxton Fringer, Mosca, Colo., Brydon Gylling, Manassa, Colo., Tytan (Breña Roybal) Gylling, Manassa, Colo., and Aspen Gylling, Manassa Colo.; her great-grandchildren Raelynn Fringer, Macie Gylling, and one on the way; her siblings Pat (Marilee) Vannoy, Sanford, Colo., Jim (Becky) Vannoy, La Jara, Colo., Barb Radich, La Jara, Colo., Peg Hoff Corrigan, Pueblo, Colo..; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and her brother who died at birth, David Vannoy.

A visitation will be held from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2024, at the Manassa Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints followed by a Graveside Service at 12:30 p.m. in the Manassa-Romeo Cemetery.
