ALAMOSA– Longtime Alamosa Mayor Farris Bervig reportedly died this morning after a long battle with illness.

Bervig was a store manager for J.C. Penney for years and owner and operator of Bervig’s True Value here. Watch Tuesday’s Courier for more details and funeral arrangements.
