ALAMOSA — The Dumb Friends League, Colorado Humane Society and S.P.C.A. invite the public to a community meeting on Wednesday, March 20th from 6-8 p.m. at the Alamosa County Judicial Center in the Training Center, 8955 Independence Way, Alamosa. The purpose of the meeting is to bring agency and community members together to discuss animal welfare topics regarding the people and animals of the San Luis Valley.  Participants will identify concerns within the Valley and brainstorm long-term solutions including the option of opening a regional animal community center.  Call Diana Hamilton at 719-274-5998.
