Meeting the Moose

Moose gently greets young library patrons during the Alamosa Public Library’s 115th anniversary celebration on Sunday afternoon. Accompanied by owner Dr. Laura Bruneau, Moose will be at the library again today, April 5, from 3-5 p.m. A St. Bernard/heeler mix, Moose is a registered therapy dog who provides a safe sounding board for young readers to practice their skills. Moose will return to the library on May 3 and June 7. Call 589-3786 to schedule a time to read to Moose.
