Michael Floyd Manuel Pacheco

Michael Floyd Manuel Pacheco, 35, long-time resident of Alamosa left this world on November 7, 2021. Michael was born on October 5, 1986 in Denver to Cathy Valdez and Michael Pacheco.

Those who knew Michael knew his compassion and generous ways. He was a big man with an even bigger heart who would help anyone, anywhere, anytime or anywhere.

Michael’s pride and joy were his children; Promise Casados, Center; Elizabeth “Liz” Pacheco and Michael Pacheco Jr. Alamosa. His favorite nephews Brandon and Isaiah Coffey of Alamosa. Michael loved to argue with his neice Cathy Jo Coffey about not knowing what “real”music was.

He was an avid Broncos fan. Loved his music and time spent with family. He had an awesome smile and a fantastic sense of humor. He was a wonderful godfather to Roman Valdez, Pueblo; and Angelina Quintana, Albuquerque, N.M.

He is survived by the mothers of his children Monica Mata, Center. And Heather Sisneros, Alamosa. His mother Cathy (Robert) Gallegos of Pueblo, Colo. His special niece Rianna Valdez who he helped raise. Four sisters; Eileen Alire, Alamosa; Michelle (Michelle) Medina, Antonito; Angela (Stephen) Coffey, Alamosa; Michaelene (John Cruz) Valdez, Pueblo, Colo. Two Maternal Uncles Floyd and Richard Valdez of Denver. His godmother Joann Valdez, Northglenn, Colo.

He was proceeded in death by his sister Liz Alire Elliot, father Michael Pacheco, godfather Charles Valdez.

Cremation was chosen with memorial services Tuesday morning the 16th. Rosary at 9:30 funeral at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church and burial in the Alamosa Cemetary.
