Republican Alamosa County Commissioner Michael Yohn announced that he is running for reelection for District 2 during the commissioners’ meeting on Wednesday. "I believe this is a very critical time for Alamosa County and I think we have to be very fiscally responsible for the projects that are going on," said Yohn.

The commissioner is currently serving his second term. Alamosa County Commissioners are not term-limited.
