Milagros hosts local artist in May

...

ALAMOSA — Spring is all about green and flowers and color (along with and in spite of the wind.) During the month of May SLV artist Evelyn Sprouse Rowe will be presenting a variety of colorful art inspired by the season at Milagros coffeehouse.  Her work will range from painted pots and jewelry to miniatures in watercolor.

Part of the show’s appeal is a “Painting Give Away” providing the drawing winner with an original art piece. Entry forms will be available at Milagros and the artist’s own gallery/studio “Whatever Works” at 1604 S. State (toward the airport) in Alamosa.

Whatever Works has unique yard art, fine art, and gifts made by Valley artists. Many of the creations utilize weathered wood, found objects and the repurposed and refurbished.

Stop by Milagros and Whatever Works in May and enter both places for a chance to win an original art piece that reflects the season’s color and energy.
