MILDRED CAROL (KNOLL) WAGNER

Mildred Carol (Knoll) Wagner, age 82, March 12, 1940 – April 23, 2022 of Alamosa, Colorado; passed in Phoenix, Arizona.

Carol was born to Charles W. Knoll and Mildred Melia of Gardener, Colorado on March 12, 1940. She grew up on the family homestead in Gardener.

Carol was an Early Education teacher for 30 years for the Alamosa School System. She mentored many ASU students in the same career. She loved going to plays in Creede, playing bridge with friends, and painting. Her greatest joy was her family, and cherished time spent with all of them.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charles; and sisters, Rosemary and Frances.

Carol is survived by her husband, Virgil, of Alamosa; sons, Burton W. (Jean) of Boulder, Kenneth W. (Deanna), and Gregory W. (Zandra) of Alamosa; sister Ginny (Knoll) Studebaker of Denver; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to SLV Cancer Relief Center fund in Carol’s name. Celebration of Life: May 22, 2022, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.  , Elks Club, 406 Hunt Ave., Alamosa.
