Alamosa resident Mitchell Ray Powell, 60, passed away on April 20, 2018. He was born on January 18, 1958 in Del Norte, Colorado to Raymond and Wynona Powell. Mitchell enjoyed fishing and hunting. During his life, he worked for Pepsi, Pleasant Lumber and the Valley Courier.

Mitchell is survived by his daughter Angela Ulibarri, his father Ray (Vangie) Powell, his brother Mike Powell, his sister Marsha Powell, his Uncle Ronald William (Carol) Powell and his cousins, Kirk Powell, Billy Powell and Brad Powell.

He was preceded in death by his mother, his son Mitch Powell and his cousin Ronnie Powell.
