Monte Vista school libraries donate books to Carnegie Corner


MONTE VISTA — Thanks to a generous donation from the Monte Vista school libraries Carnegie Corner has many gently used children’s books to give away.

New titles received recently: “Talking to Strangers” by Malcolm Gladwell, “Ninth House” by Leigh Bardugo, “Christmas Shopaholic” by Sophie Kinsella, “The Guardians” by John Grisham, “Stealth” by Stuart Woods, “Agent Running in the Field” by John LeCarre, “The Deserter” by Nelson DeMille, “The Night Fire” by Michael Connelly, “To the Land of Long Lost Friends” by Alexander McCall Smith.

New audio books on CD: “Taos Lightning” by Johnny D. Story time for toddlers and preschoolers is every Wednesday morning at 11 a.m.

Library hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m.  Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Saturdays from noon-4 p.m. Closed Sundays.
