Josh Lopez (382) and Richard Sais (383) find their way down a switchback path midway through the boys 3A race. Lopez took 25th overall while Sais finished 46th boosting Alamosa to 4th in the state.

Nigel Cortright of Sargent finished 31st overall adding 24 points to the Farmer's total score. Cortright finished the difficult course in 18:04

Tara Sowards of Alamosa focuses the remainder of her energy in getting up the final incline on the home stretch. Sowards finished with a time of 20:27 good enough for 38th in the state and 3rd among her fellow Moose.(Courier photos by Stephen Jiron)
