ALAMOSA — The San Luis Valley Museum invites the public to a reception to celebrate a donation of a rare copy of Zebulon Pike's Journal published for Congress in 1810. The reception will be held on Sunday, April 9 from 1:30-4:30 p.m. at the museum, 401 Hunt Ave, Alamosa. Call 587-0667. Everyone is invited, and admittance is free.

Pike National Historic Trail Association President Harv Hisgen will be here along with other members of the association. Come look, ask questions about Pike and his travels and enjoy the afternoon.
