MONTE VISTA — The Monte Vista Farmer’s Market this Friday, August 4th, offers a free Cooking Matters tour of the market. Tour participants will receive a recipe book, reusable tote bag and $10 for the market. Two tours will be offered; one beginning at 10 a.m. and the second at 11 a.m.

Located on US Highway 160 across from the Information Center in downtown Monte Vista, the market offers fresh regional and local produce, the Mobile Kitchen (MOKI), live music, fresh Colorado peaches, and more. The market begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m.  SNAP and Double Up Food Bucks are welcome.
