Nonprofit ed series planned

ALAMOSA – Thanks to the support of the Southern Colorado Community Foundation (SCCF), Community Resource Center (CRC) is bringing a five-part nonprofit education series to Alamosa.

CRC is a statewide organization that creates opportunities, tools and strategies to develop nonprofits and community groups to strengthen Colorado. As part of this mission, CRC facilitates affordable statewide training opportunities for nonprofit professionals.

Covering a variety of topics, the series aims to equip nonprofit professionals in Southern Colorado with core skills and knowledge needed to lead effective and efficient organizations. These include Strategic Planning (May 25th), Program Planning (June 27th), Making the Ask (July 19th), Get Grants (August 10th), and Board Leadership (October 4th).

The partnership of the Southern Colorado Community Foundation has been critical to the development of this program. Through this partnership, CRC is able to offer sessions at half their normal cost.
