October busy month for FBLA

MOSCA — Sangre de Cristo FBLA members participated in several events during October including a Halloween themed member lunch, chapter meeting, and a regional conference.

The Fall Leadership Conference was held on October 3rd with 17 members attending. Workshops provided information and skills on how to be more involved with the chapter, how to get others involved, how to think, listen, and speak clearly to make sure others fully grasp instruction, and what to and what not to put on a resume when speaking about FBLA-PBL.

Vice President Dillon Palmgren attended the school board meeting providing a report on chapter events.

The highlight of the month was the completion and certification of Super Sweeps. FBLA Super Sweeps, which ran August 1 through October 20, required chapters to complete 10 tasks that focused on recruiting and retaining members. Super Sweeps is one of three certifications chapters can complete to be recognized in the National FBLA Chapter Challenge.
