Emergency responders are on the scene of a two-vehicle accident at Sixth Street and West Avenue at about 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 22.  According to the Alamosa Police Department, the at fault vehicle was traveling south on West Avenue and struck the non fault vehicle which was traveling east on Sixth Street.  The at fault vehicle was driven by Marlene Tafoya, 65, of Del Norte, and she was cited for failing to obey a traffic control light signal. The non fault vehicle was driven by Michael Kline, 57.  Tafoya was transported by the Alamosa ambulance for complaint of injury.
