Orlando L. Taylor, 82

San Pablo resident Orlando L. Taylor, 82, passed away May 6, 2018 at his home under Hospice Care with his loving family by his side. Orlando was born on July 1, 1935, in San Pablo, Colorado, the son of Augustine Taylor and Juanita Martinez Taylor. He was united in marriage to Lydia Maestas on November 26, 1966, in San Luis. Orlando was an exceptional and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who enjoyed going horseback riding, hunting, camping, and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Lydia Taylor of San Pablo, CO; sons Steve (Vickie) Taylor of Colorado Springs, CO; Julian Taylor, Aaron (Pam) Taylor, both of San Luis, CO; daughter-in-law Rosemary Taylor of San Luis, CO; 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, sisters Marbella (Sam) Martinez, Roseann Medina and Theresa Taylor, all of Denver, CO.

He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Orlando was preceded in death by his parents Augustine and Juanita Taylor, brothers Julian Taylor and Augustine Taylor, Jr.

A Vigil Service with Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 7:00 PM at the Romero Funeral Chapel in San Luis. Another Vigil Service will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 7:00 PM at the Sangre De Cristo Catholic Church. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 10:00 AM also at Sangre De Cristo Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the San Francisco Cemetery. Viewing and visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1-5 PM at the Romero Funeral Chapel in San Luis. The care of arrangements have been entrusted to Romero Funeral Home of San Luis.
