ALAMOSA – The 50th Annual Alamosa Kiwanis Club 4th of July Pancake Breakfast brought food, fun and music to attendees. The breakfast was at the San Luis Valley Federal Bank parking lot in Alamosa. Members of the Adams State University football team were on hand to help with the festivities.

The patriotic atmosphere was heightened with music performed by the SLV Community Band.

“Outdoor band concerts are part of the Americana landscape in small-town America on the Fourth of July; and the San Luis Valley Community Band plays a significant role in keeping that Americana culture alive. A tradition of musical excellence, coupled with an unwavering spirit of giving back to the community is the hallmark of the SLV Community Band,” said band director Kerry Hart.
