ALAMOSA — The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Alamosa welcomes Patricia Eagle who will speak about her upcoming memoir about life beyond unwanted and abusive sexual experiences in childhood. Her book, Girl Matters: Sex, Love, and Learning to Trust, weaves a tapestry of stories about blocking abuse memories, having memories surface, then learning how to acknowledge and live with incomprehensible experiences in the healthiest ways possible.
The UUs meet in the fellowship hall of the Presbyterian Church, 330 San Juan Avenue. All are invited. Children’s programming is available. For further information, call Jan Oen at 719-480-4771.
