Pesticide training set in Center

CENTER—Center Conservation District will hold a Private Applicators Pre-certification Training and Testing on March 16 at the USDA Service Center, Hwy 285 and 10 N, Center.  

Anyone needing a new license is invited to attend. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. with a light breakfast. Training and testing starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. and is sponsored by Colorado Potato Administrative Committee.

Pesticide Education Specialist Don Henderson will be conducting the trainings.

There will be no charge for this class due to grant funding received from Saguache County Sales Tax Funds. However, the district is asking for donations in lieu of fees for the Colorado Envirothon competition to be held in April. Information on the Envirothon will be available at the workshop. All donations are tax deductible.
