Philbert “Phil” Ruybalid of Wilsonville, OR, entered peacefully into rest at Legacy Meridian Hospital in Tualatin, OR, surrounded by family on June 28th, 2016. He was 66 years old.  A Celebration of Life will be held at San Rafael Presbyterian Church in Mogote, on July 22nd.

Born to John and Martha Ruybalid in Mogote on May 28, 1950, Phil was raised in North Platte, NE. In 1964, his family moved to Concord, CA.

A graduate of Concord High School and the University of Phoenix, Phil worked as a sales and marketing manager for Gemco Stores, the J.R. Simplot Company, and Pursell Industries.

Outside of work, Phil coached numerous sports teams for his two sons, Jason and Michael, and served as a deacon at Church of the Valley in San Ramon, CA. An avid runner, he completed numerous half and full marathons in the Bay Area.

Phil is survived by his beloved wife Dianna, two sons Jason and Michael, daughter in-law Kristina, grandchildren Elena and Nathan, brothers Ernie and Nick, and sisters Diana and Teresa. He was preceded in death by father John, mother Martha, and brother Roland.
