Alamosa firefighters respond to a broken pipe at the Adams State Theatre building on Sunday morning, December 30. The pipe froze and broke, and water saturated the front part of the theatre building, according to Assistant Fire Chief Tony Bobicki. He said the damage was pretty much contained in the front part of the building. Firefighters had a lot of mopping up to do, however. Residents are reminded during the cold weather periods to make sure pipes will not freeze.
