ALAMOSA — The Alamosa Community Greenhouse will host its annual plant sale and open house on Saturday, May 20, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at 1201 Edison Avenue in Alamosa.  Organically grown tomatoes (three varieties: Muskovitch, Sungold, and Roma), basil and other herbs, locally saved seeds, house plants, worm castings, herbal soap and salves and local art will be for sale. 

Demonstrations on transplanting, seedling care, and worm composting will be given. Refreshments will be served. 

Local stained glass artist Mary Susan Eldredge will display her glass creations in the lighting of the greenhouse. 

New to the sale this year is bead artist Lynn Carey.
