There was plenty of work on Tuesday for those clearing snow as Alamosa and other communities around the San Luis Valley dug out of a New Year’s Day storm that dropped several inches on the Valley floor and 34 inches of new snow at the Wolf Creek Ski Area. No more precipitation is expected in the coming week, but this snow is not going to be melting off anytime soon, with high temperatures expected not to exceed freezing until the weekend.
