Power outage delays Courier

E Edition is available

Thursday's massive power outage due to the disastrous fires in Boulder County has prevented us from producing Friday's Valley Courier print edition on time.

For those that don't know, Xcel Energy starting rolling blackouts about 6 p.m. Thursday and as of 10 p.m. the Courier office was still out of electricity. Power permitting, we will print the edition early Friday morning and attempt to deliver as many areas as we can. Unfortunately we depend on the USPS for a portion of our delivery and those readers may not receive their Friday edition until Monday.

The good news is, if you are an E Edition subscriber, that is currently available online at alamosanews.com.

We will make every effort Friday morning to make the E Edition available to everyone. If you're already a print subscriber, you can sign up for our edition for no additional charge. Please contact [email protected]

Here's a link to Friday's E Editon for those who can access it:

Again we apologize for this situation thanks to a tragic, ongoing incident in Boulder County.
