ALAMOSA – Dr. Esmarelda Suazo will lead “Prayer Walk 2020” this Friday, Nov. 6 at 8:30 p.m. with the hope of helping San Luis Valley communities through difficult times.

“Let’s come together and pray for our San Luis Valley, for those who have lost a loved one, pray against drug addiction, depression, suicide, division and oppression. It’s time to till our land,” read an email announcement about the walk.

Dr. Suazo said everyone is welcome to participate in the “peaceful march”, citing Jeremiah 29:7 from the Bible. The walk will begin at 811 Main, proceed to State Street and then onto Seventh Street and return to 811 Main. The event will be COVID safety enforced.
