Proposals sought for Motorway

ALAMOSA — The Alamosa County Local Marketing District (LMD) has issued a Request for Proposals to redevelop the Rio Grande Motorway Building located adjacent to The Depot on Sixth Street. The objective of the RFP is to identify a party to acquire and redevelop the property.

RFPs will be evaluated by the marketing district, and the winning proposal will be selected based on the priorities and criteria outlined in the RFP.

The district is hosting a meeting for the benefit of interested parties on March 22 at 6 p.m. at the Alamosa County Board of County Commissioners Meeting Room, 8900 Independence Way, Alamosa. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the RFP, take questions about its structure and intent, clarify, reiterate the timeframe, and identify interested parties.

The LMD is hosting a walk-through of the building on Thursday. March 29th at 1 p.m. at the building itself.

Proposals are due on or before June 14th at the Alamosa County Office. Instructions on how to submit are detailed in the RFP document.
