Donna Gates, incoming commander of American Legion Post 113 and Aaron Holcomb, whom she will succeed, hold folders filled with records and numerous flags as they work to ensure that the grave of every veteran will have a flag by the time ceremonies were set to begin on Monday in Alamosa.
