Randy Valentine

Leonard Randall Valentine (Randy), age 70, went home to the lord December 17th, 2021, in Las Cruces, NM.

Randy was born on January 31st, 1951, in Alamosa, CO to Ray and Roberta Valentine. He was united in marriage on August 5th, 1977, to Ginger Swanson. Randy attended Southern Colorado State College in Pueblo, Co where he received an associate degree. He owned and operated Valentine Plumbing and Heating for many years, until his health forced him to retire. He was an extremely hard-working man whose ethics and values guided him throughout his life. He loved to hunt, fish, backpack, and in his later years became a wonderful cook. 

He is survived by his wife Ginger, Las Cruces NM, who was the love of his life. He had three sons who he was extremely proud of. Perry Valentine (Joy), Golden CO, Jarad Valentine (Vanessa), Lakewood, CO, and Daniel Valentine (Candace), Las Cruces, NM. He had four grandchildren, Mitchell, Ali-Rae, Everett, and Gus Valentine. He is also survived by three sisters: Roxie (Tom) Lucas, Colorado Springs, CO, Pam (Gary) Malmberg, Alamosa, CO, and Renae (Nathan) Haslett, Alamosa, CO. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Roberta Valentine, grandparents Ray and Anna Valentine, Fred and Fayre Henderson, and father-in-law and mother-in-law Albert and Vera Swanson, and grandson Ryan Valentine. 

Randy was one of a kind. He was a loving husband and father, who always tried to do the right thing for his family. His family was the most important thing in his life to him. He was a much-loved husband, father, son and brother and he will be missed very much.  Cremation was chosen and a celebration of life will be held the summer of 2022.
