Rebecca Denise Cavett Amerman

CENTER — Rebecca Denise Cavett Amerman passed away July 12, 2019 in Colorado Springs, after a lengthy illness with her loving husband at her side.

Rebecca was born on June 17, 1949 in Ponca City, Okla. to Howard and Mavis Cavett.  Best known as Becky by her family and friends or Mrs. A by all the students and teachers at Center School District, where she was a substitute teacher for many years.

Becky enjoyed reading, doing word searches, listening to Gospel and Bluegrass music, going to church and traveling around Colorado with her husband of 48 years.  She loved the Lord, her family and friends, all the kids that she taught and animals.  She was a wonderful person who touched many lives. She will be forever loved and greatly missed by all who knew her.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Mavis Cavett.  She is survived by her husband James Amerman, son Shelton Amerman, daughter Tiger-Robin Amerman and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Becky’s memorial service will be Saturday, July 20 at New Hope Community Church in South Fork, at 10 a.m. with burial to follow.  Memorial contributions can be made to New Hope Community Church in South Fork.
