Recognition ceremony set for Vietnam era veterans

ALAMOSA — Dickey-Springer Post 113 of the American Legion is proud to partner and host a recognition for all men and women who served in the Armed Forces from November 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975. Sen. Larry Crowder will be present to be honored for his service and to present the lapel pins. The service will take place on July 21 at 2 p.m. at the American Legion Hall at 514 Fourth Street in Alamosa. All the veterans and their families are welcome to attend. Also invited are the community and all town and city officials in the San Luis Valley to make this a special event.
