?IDIGINIS, a six piece band, is a Houston based Reggae Band that started playing in 2008. From the beginning IDIGINIS has stayed true to the traditions of the original Reggae musicians. The music along with the uplifting lyrics makes for a great band.

IDIGINIS has been honored to play alongside Sugar Minott, Freddie McGregor, Third World, Elephant Man, Houston International Festival alongside Wailing Souls, Rootz Underground,Chaka Khan, Steel Pulse, Yellowman. The band has also played dates with The Original Wailers, The Skatalites, Ky-Mani Marley, Dub Trio, Groundation, Mystic Roots Band, plus a sold-out date with Badfish at House of Blues Houston. IDIGINIS was also chosen to be a part of a taping for ABC’s reality show Wifeswap in Houston after NYC casting agents found the band online through MySpace, which aired in prime time to 3.34 million total viewers (Nielsen Media Research).

IDIGINIS music is constantly evolving while pumping out a mix of tuff roots reggae with hints of rock and a touch of dub too. The reggae vibe is growing as well as the numbers in the IDIGINIS army of souljahs here in the U.S. and abroad. The message is clear — Reggae music in TEXAS is real.

This is a sweets and snacks potluck. Bring a favorite healthy snack to share, and as always coffee and tea are on the house.
