Reich to present to Trout Unlimited

Bring your fishing pictures to the next SLV Chapter of Trout Unlimited meeting on Tuesday.

Please join the SLV Chapter of Trout Unlimited for its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 26th at 7 p.m. at the SLV Health, Education and Conference Center at 1921 Main Street in Alamosa.

The group will enjoy a presentation on proper fish handling, picture taking, and practices to make your fishing season a safe and beautifully documented success!

Rain Reich will be giving a presentation and discussion “Keep ‘Em Wet, Keep ‘Em Alive” on how we, as ambassadors for conservation, can sharpen our skills and continue to enjoy the sport we are so proud to love. Rain is interested in posting pictures of the members’ fishing experiences and species caught and is looking for pictures so bring them if you can! Because of our organization’s commitment to protecting trout and freshwater fish, ensuring we follow correct practices to keep fish healthy before, during, and after our catch is vital to carrying on our legacy. Come with questions, pictures, and ready to learn something fun!

For more information contact 719-378-2751. As always the meeting is open to the public. Refreshments will be provided and a prize drawing will be held at the end of the meeting.

Trout Unlimited is dedicated to the conservation, preservation, and restoration of North America’s Coldwater fisheries and their watersheds.
